Self-Esteem Sewing Project

My Project

In my high-needs, Title I school, our HEARTS social-emotional classes are an essential part of teaching our students self-regulation, coping, and other skills to help them be their best selves. We spend a month working on our self-esteem through activities and skills such as identifying our positive characteristics and learning how to change our negative thoughts to positive ones.

The culmination of our self-esteem unit is matching our positive qualities to the qualities of different animals and making 'spirit animal' stuffies.

The kids LOVE this culmination project AND it teaches them how to sew on top of learning self-love. We need your help to fund this special project! I have twice the amount of students I had last year, and I can't afford to fund this again myself.
