This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
Students grow more when they have different kinds of practice and are able to self assess themselves. My students are very active and enjoy being able to play games with their classmates.
Mistakes are proof you are trying.
My students want to learn and have missed being in the classroom. For almost 2 years they have been virtual so most of what they have done to learn has been through technology. I can't wait to get activities and games back in their hands!
My Project
With students being out of the classroom for almost a year, they are at so many different levels. These games will allow students to work on skills they need independently. This will give me time as a teacher to pull small groups for more direct teaching. These games are very hands on and will reach many different learning styles. Students will also be able to check their own work and make correction if needed. The games will allow me to put students in different stations throughout the room so they each have something to work on either individually or as a group.
