Help me give my students headphones to use in the classroom!
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Lahens's classroom raised $379

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach a 6th-grade and 7th-grade self-contained special education class in the South Bronx.
Due to their different needs, some of my students require different learning styles.
I have noticed that some students perform better when they can watch a video or do some sort of multimedia project. However, our headphones are in such poor shape that it has no longer become effective.
Students will use the headphones to complete Edpuzzle activities, create multimedia presentations, or take a quick music break if they need. These will make a real difference in facilitating everyone's learning style.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
