This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My amazing students are 9th and 11th graders. They are singers, actors, musicians, rappers, poets, authors, scientists but most of all inspiring. This year is the first year that music has been in our halls so we are trying to build up our program. Our music teacher was named the GRAMMY Music Educator Award Recipient in 2018!
My school is located in the poorest congressional district in the entire United States.
The projects that you help fund will help my students overcome the struggles they face. Your donation will help bring much-needed resources and supplies to the students at my school.
My students work hard and they love coming to music class. The staff takes pride in what we do. We work together as a family of educators to create the best learning environment for our students. We take care of our belongings because we are very fortunate to have what we have.
My Project
This project is to help keep our classroom environment clean and organized. I spend a lot of time at the end of the day sweeping and cleaning the dirt on the floor. It takes a lot of time away from grading.
I teach my students to take pride in their environment.
This project will allow us to have a clean space and save time! It will be so nice to be able to not worry about sweeping the floor because it does take a lot of time. I hope you can help me teach my students to take care and take pride in their environment.
