Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

There are times when our bodies just don’t feel their best, and my hope is by providing these supplies to students who may not have the time or access to be able to provide this care for themselves, students will gain a better sense of confidence in themselves.

With these care supplies my students will be able to feel comfortable and confident as they navigate the social aspects of school.

School can be difficult as it is, but to have to feel possible shame because of a lack of resources like toothbrushes, combs, or even feminine care, we open up students to further discomfort in the classroom. My wish is that I can help guide students in their care so they can avoid discomfort and focus more on their school work and less on how they are perceived by others!
