My Project

My students come from a rural village. We work with those students who struggle to learn in the often busy regular classroom. Help me provide a space that can feel like a home away from home. Many of the students in my classroom have food sensitivities and are unable to eat some meals and snacks that are offered to the rest of the school.

With a mini frig, I can order food options that are individualized to fit my students' needs, while they are still being thoughtful selected with nutrition in mind.

While I do serve a small population of my school, our school culture is one that all the staff work together to meet every student's needs.

I have also included much needed materials, such as the files, unifix cubes, and a laminator. These will help add to the calm by providing an organize the classroom and provide multi-sensory learning complete with visual schedules.

We do a little bit of everything here in order to ensure that every student feels cared for. Every year I try to add a new feature. This year that includes nutritious snacks.
