Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These resources will assist my students in calming down when they are upset, as well as helping them develop social skills when interacting with others. Simple craft activities (the pipe cleaners, pom poms, watercolor paints, etc) allow them to work with and alongside others while creating. The conversation starters can help them communicate their needs while assisting with social skills as they engage in conversation with their peers. My students also enjoy engaging in science activities.

During lunch time I am able to make connections with students using these items.
