My Project

I love my students for many, many reasons. First and foremost, they are Special Education students who need additional support with their learning and development.

SEL plays a pivotal role in academic achievement by enhancing students' cognitive and self-regulation skills.

When students are equipped with strategies to manage stress, set goals, and persevere through challenges, they demonstrate improved focus, motivation, and academic performance.

For most of my students, these topics are difficult to manage, so I like to teach them through games, hands-on activities, and journaling. I'm asking for your donation to purchase SEL games and learning tools, as well as journals they can use for their writing.
