My Project
Over the last few years, the pandemic has brought on a lot of challenges for students and teachers. COVID-19 intensified many challenges, which increased the need for Social Emotional Learning (SEL). SEL has provided a foundation for a positive learning environment.
My second-grade students come to school excited to learn. They love art-integrated activities and being creative. I would love to do more art projects, but it’s very difficult with a limited supply of materials. The resources that I am requesting will provide my students with more learning opportunities for creative expression. I plan to integrate art projects into all content areas, giving my students the opportunity to develop fine motor skills, self-expression, a growth mindset, and self-awareness. This will have a positive impact on their academic performance to help them be successful in school.
