My Project
The A Little Spot book series would be a wonderful addition to our classroom as we continue to grow and learn in the area of Social-Emotional Learning (SEL). These books present SEL concepts in a simple, engaging, and age-appropriate way that helps young learners understand and manage their emotions. With relatable characters and clear examples, students can begin to recognize their feelings and learn strategies to express themselves in healthy ways. My students have shown a genuine love for stories and are excited and curious about books that help them better understand themselves and others. Incorporating this series will strengthen our classroom community by promoting empathy, problem-solving, and emotional regulation. The accompanying teacher’s guide would be especially helpful in providing structure, discussion prompts, and extension activities to deepen our learning. This resource supports our commitment to nurturing the whole child—academically, socially, and emotionally.
