My Project

Learning to get along, work cooperatively and control feelings is important in helping children with their Social-Emotional Learning.

Journaling is a big part of social-emotional learning.

It will help create a classroom community that is full of empathy, kindness, respect, and responsibility. Giving students the opportunity to learn about feelings and emotions will help them encounter difficult situations appropriately in these difficult times. They don't have to worry about making mistakes, they will learn how to make things better.

Each student will receive a journal, pencil bag, pencil and stickers.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
