SEL Meets Art + ELA

Help me give my students a huge classroom refresher that will include all the supplies they need to incorporate art and ELA into their SEL (p4c) class.

My Project

By this time of year, most of the marker ink has run dry and all the crayons are broken. The sharpies and expo pens are dried out and I've exhausted most of my art supplies that is used by the entire school population. I love incorporating arts and crafts into my SEL lessons but it's been hard with that lack of supplies.

By gifting my SEL students with new and improved art and writing supplies, they will be more engaged and I will be able to offer a more universal design for learning.

SEL is a very creative and unique subject that can be taught in many ways. Students are excited to color, draw, write and express their feelings through art and writing. It will be very exciting to introduce water colors if gifted these supplies. Students also really enjoy using mini white boards to brainstorm their p4c questions and doodle their thoughts about a topic.
