My Students

My students come from diverse economic and ethnic backgrounds, yet they come to school with excitement and eagerness to learn and grow. In our grade level, our students rotate for math, ELA, and sciences, therefore I will see each and every Fourth grade student in our school.

Growth mindset and the whole child are two major focuses in our classroom.

I want to provide my 21st century learners the environment, materials, and opportunities that they need to be engaged and successful. Together we help prepare ourselves and each other for today and tomorrow, with both academic and emotional goals.

My Project

Schools have had a huge push towards whole student learning through Social Emotional Learning. School is no longer just about academic learning but learning how to interact outside of the digital world.

We are requesting games and activities for the opportunity to socialize and interact with one another in fun and engaging ways.

We'd love to learn through play with these board games. By purchasing these games students will be able to interact and enhance developmental social emotional skills in a fun and exciting way.

Playing board games rather than video games will encourage face to face interactions, building relationships, and problem solving skills. It will help to keep the students engaged, happy, and excited for more! By fostering these skills we help to prepare our students for their best future.
