This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students have been impacted greatly by Covid-19 and the lack of in-person learning during the pandemic. Many of my students missed major social-emotional milestones and learning because they were isolated due to the pandemic. With free preschool, we now have 3 preschool classrooms and I am in need of more SEL supplies for our youngest learners. The kindness kit in particular will help these young learners grow their understanding of emotions and positive interactions. These materials will help address some of the SEL losses due to the pandemic. Thanks!
