Help me give my students the tools to enhance their emotional intelligence. My students would benefit from a calming break area with all the tools need to regulate and learn about their emotions.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
As young learners, they often face challenges in emotional regulation, which can impact their ability to engage with academic content. In order for my students to thrive academically, it is essential that they are emotionally available to learn.
I am reaching out for your support in providing materials and resources such as a book display case, fidgets and books, that will help create a safe and nurturing space for my students to regulate and process their emotions effectively.
By fostering emotional well-being, we can ensure that each student is in the best possible state to absorb new knowledge and grasp academic concepts.
