This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The items that would make a difference in my students' learning are knowing that there are flexible seating options, chair bands for their comfort, having the opportunity to decorate bulletin boards/doors with the bulletin board paper/borders, using paper towels daily but more accessible, and using a workable stapler rather than a broken one.

The goal of this project is to have sufficient materials and other SEL items to support students throughout this academic year and future academic years, since our students are newcomer immigrant students who are experiencing NY Public schools in a new space, living area, and more.
