I teach in a low-income district in Phoenix, Arizona. My students are passionate, positive and always pushing their limits! I am very proud to be their teacher! I look forward to each day I spend with them.
We are big on character education in the classroom; from using the "Bucket Filling" teachings to community service on campus, I believe my students are capable of anything they set their minds to.
Growth is important in the classroom and my students are always setting personal goals to become their best selves.
I expect to learn practical and effective strategies for enhancing and differentiating my instruction, while addressing immediate issues impacting instruction like using technology to enhance instruction, aligning standards, and engaging all learners. The conference offers both practical and effective strategies for the enhancing and differentiating classroom instruction including effective technology integration and engaging learners.
I will have the opportunity to learn from internationally-known keynote speakers as well as fellow educators about new learning models, important issues, and new challenges facing today’s learners in our classrooms.
I will also have the opportunity to network with other educators who are facing the same challenges we are. By attending, I will be able to make meaningful connections with other educators across the state and better support our district.
