This is a major building and learning year for our school swim team. We now have more swimmers than the school has ever had. We are still lacking some items that we could use for our competitions and practices.
Swimmers being able to see in the water is essential, these goggles will enable them to see even if they have a visual impairment.
These goggles are expensive but they work best during competitions. The students being able to time their flip turn is essential to swimming their fastest. Being a part of a team can be a large expense for our families so we try to fundraise and help offset that cost.
Swimming is a sport they can do their entire lives and it is an amazing low-impact way to stay in shape. Our group is very hard-working and they are very supportive of each other.
