My Students

The students in our school represent the diverse population of New York City. Our ambitious and hard-working students are eager to learn and express themselves. We are creating a photography club to give them this opportunity.

A group of students took the initiative to start a school newspaper which is in its second year.

Now we are adding photographers to assist our reporters. These students will be developing their skills as they photograph our school teams at play and our scholars at work. They will learn many of the skills needed to grab the attention of their audience.

My Project

My students will use the cameras to express themselves and show us the world they see in our photography club. We need the ink so students can also print their photographs on our in class printer. They will have the opportunity to experiment with different styles as they go "on assignment". They will have the chance to enhance our school newspaper as they develop their skills.

We will be photographing events both in the school and around the neighborhood.

This will give them the chance to look at the world in a new way and express their point of view in pictures. Many of our scholars are eager to get started on their journey. They are just waiting for the tools to do it!
