This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Hello,

This color printer can take the students in this special education classroom to the next level of learning.

The visuals used in this curriculum are not as effective in black and white. An example of this is in identifying safety signs in the community. A stop sign in RED allows students to be able to retain that information more easily, apply it to learning colors, and correlate that red in others can mean danger.

With this opportunity, I can give students modified material instantly instead of requesting certain materials to be in color and waiting weeks for students to receive the appropriate service. Students can then master IEP goals, build themselves a better future, and enjoy assignments that accurately portray the material. Please consider sponsoring this equipment. It can go a long way in this classroom.
