My Project

Reading is one of the most influential parts of a childʻs day while at home or at school. Reading allows all ages to explore different lands, time periods, perspectives, or cultured from arounf the world. Our school library is in need of a more diverse collection.

By providing a diverse collection of books for children to explore, they begin to make connections, ask questions, and deepen their appreciation for themselves, their community, and the world around them.

The books I am requesting will give students more choices in our picture book collection and students will build their own "self love" through seeing others who are like them in the stories they will read.

Please help support our schoolwide reading collection of more diverse stories!
