My students are eager and enthusiastic learners! They range in age from 5 years old to 7 years old, and are the smartest, most hard working kiddos I know. Our school is a neighborhood school, with a very multicultural clientele.
Our school, and my class, is made up of students of mixed ethnicity, gender, academic ability, physical and emotional ability, as well as socioeconomic status.
Our school is a Title 1 school, with a majority of our students needing Free and Reduced Lunch assistance. We use Full Inclusion principles in our school, and maintain that all students have a safe, nurturing, and excellent education.
My Project
The materials in this project are important for getting our students and school back to NORMAL!
We have been doing virtual school-wide assemblies and meetings, using technology to connect us.
We are ready to move to in person large-scale meeting and need visual projection capabilities to do it! In addition to using the projector in a large space like our Multi-Purpose Room where all students will meet together, the smaller TVs will allow projections of live assemblies, upcoming events, and highlights of students and staff.
These important technology pieces will help move us in a direction of normalcy, but also give our school an uplift in both technology usage and bringing us closer as a community!
