Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
In today's world teaching without technology is like teaching in the dark ages.
My third grade students are a very inquisitive bunch.
They love learning and are always asking great questions. These twenty four students are smart and try very hard to get the most out of every day they are in school. Our school district is experiencing huge budget cuts but my class tries to seize each day with their love of learning.
My Project
My class will really benefit using a new document/camera reader in our room. When using it with our computer we can go to our math program's website and access the numerous fun math games and lessons that are available to use as a whole class. Also, the document reader will help when teaching language arts as it will be a way for the students to observe each others writing and learn from each other.
A document reader is a very valuable tool in today's classrooms.
My students are very enthusiastic when learning and the document reader will help them everyday. Using it to view student work, solve math problems, and look at maps of our country and the world will broaden their learning experiences and make their future bright.
