My Students
My student population consists of middle economic status to lower economic status. Most of them are coming out of distance learning and into the classroom environment. It has been a big change for them. Many are missing their parents, so I do my best to make a warm and fun environment for them. I have a few kids that are already accelerating with their reading and writing. Most of my students need work with basic phonics, digraphs and other reading skills. Their math skills are surprisingly strong. I have a nice group
of students with a few kids that keep me on my toes.
My Project
The document projector will allow me share content on our Activboard for all subject and content areas. I especially need this to develop print concepts with the kids during a whole group format. Having this projector will also allow me to promote math concepts from our Bridges math curriculum. The printer will be utilized to help with writing narratives through the use of green screens and printed projects. We will also use this in the creation of storyboards and for coding. There are documents that have a greater impact with color and help with understanding. I will also be able to print out weekly routines based on color coded groupings already in place.
