My Students
Our school is a safe place for many of our students. Our students come from a variety of different economic backgrounds.
One hundred percent of our students receive free breakfast and lunch.
We also have a backpack pals program that sends food and snacks home to families over long weekends and holidays. Many of the students only have one parent or guardian at home and have many adult responsibilities. Despite their hardships, they are joyful, appreciative, and eager to learn!
My Project
I am teaching a 4th grade remote class. This monitor will allow me to see all of my students at one time, and be able to assess their work. It will also allow me to consistently check for understanding, and see all their responses without manipulating through screens. It will be a valuable tool for distant learning.
