My Students

If a job is worth doing, it is worth doing right! Teaching students to follow a task from start to finish would be so much easier with a class printer.

My students are fourth graders from Louisiana.

Our school is considered suburban/rural. We are part of a 3-5 elementary school. My students love to work with technology and are eager to share their learning with others. They love to present their project-based learning, and they acquire a great deal of knowledge from other students' presentations.

My Project

We have a few classroom computers and one iPad, and the students use the technology to create a variety of projects that enhance literacy skills and reinforce social studies concepts. The catch is that we do not have a printer in our classroom. This printer would allow my students to see the fruits of their labor, present their products to other students and faculty, and take pride in their creations. The presentations would also enhance their public speaking and communication skills.

It is so important to have kids excited about learning and proud to share their creations.

Technology and communication skills can both be enhanced through the use of this printer in our classroom.
