My Project
This project is for a forensic comparison microscope. It includes an 8" LCD Android tablet and can connect to five devices at a time. This microscope will allow my students to compare images in both micro and macro environments. Students will be able to compare bullets and larger, bulky "evidence" items. The images can be seen 100% from either microscope, side-by-side, or overlapping. This project would provide my students the opportunity to analyze evidence just like "real" forensic scientists do.

This project came about from a discussion with my current Forensic Science students. We are studying our forensic ballistics science unit and talked about this as one of the tools that is used. They are really hopeful that they will get to use some of the same tools that are used in real investigations.
