My Students

My students love hands-on activities and really thrive in the classroom when they get to learn real-life experiences in the classroom setting. They are eager to participate and work with their classmates to gain knowledge they will use for the rest of their lives. My students' enthusiasm is exciting to witness and inspires me to create more hands-on opportunities for them. Their willingness to learn and grow together during these activities create a positive learning environment for all students and really encourage those students who may be struggling with personal issues to keep working toward the end goal.

My Project

These headphones will help enhance the students' learning by actively engaging them in interactive videos, lessons, assignments, and educational games. The students will have the opportunity to have their own pair of headphones; without having to share with their classmates or having to listen to their Chromebooks at a minimal volume in order to hear the video, lesson, assignment, or educational game.

Many of my students do not have their own headphones and have been borrowing some old headphones that were handed down to me from our Media Center several years ago.

Many of the headphones are no longer working. More and more lessons are being created online and require the students to watch videos or complete interactive lessons. Many of my students are unable to afford their own headphones, so they use some that were originally given to me when our Media Center was getting rid of them. Unfortunately, the headphones are old and starting to go out. I would love to provide my students with working sets of headphones that would be used on an hourly basis each day.
