My Project

The Avantis ClassVR Starter Headset 8 Pack will benefit my history students in a variety of ways. Offering experiences outside of the classroom is limited in my school district due to a shortage of bus drivers and funding. I want to be able to virtually take my students to the exact places that we are learning about. The Avantis ClassVR Starter Headset would absolutely increase student engagement and spark curiosity.

Through VR field trips, students experience real world learning and exploration regardless of their socioeconomic status, limitations, or barriers.

Imagine being able to walk around the battle site you are studying or sit at the dinner table with someone of a completely different culture! Imagine being able to walk around the campus of your dream college or actually explore the workplace of your desired career choice. VR makes all of this possible and would create a classroom community of curious learners.
