My Students

As a social studies teacher to middle school students, I get the opportunity to teach and introduce various cultures and historical events. My students are living in a digital age and I would like to encourage them to use tech tools to help them explore the world.

My students love to explore the world and learn about new traditions and customs.

What a better way to do it than with technology!

My students aspire to explore the world and leave a positive legacy for others. Every day, I strive to focus on providing encouragement and support for growth towards their future. I do my best to make their time with me positive and fun, and by doing so, I hope to instill a passion for learning and persistence in the pursuit of their goals.

My Project

The way students learn is ever changing and I enjoy evolving my lessons to meet the needs of my students. In this modern world, technology is at the fingertips of every learner in my classroom. So I asked myself how I can take that technology and use it to enhance the learning experiences of my students?

By providing my students with virtual reality headsets, I am able to take them around the world to better visualize and experience the places we are discussing in class.

Through the use of Sphero, I will be able to engage my students with interactive games and activities that incorporate our curriculum.
