This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are brilliant math thinkers! I want to give them all the tools they need to express and access their insightful ideas.
These supplies, math manipulatives/materials and new white board will remove the obstacles we sometimes face to clearing connect ideas and clarify out thinking to achieve a deeper understanding in my math class.
A magnetic white board will provide more hands-on opportunities for kids to explain their thinking to the whole class and for us to explore more deeply math concepts like place value and regrouping. I love to make math hands on and these project supplies will help me do that.
