My Students

I teach in a K-8 building and supplies for special needs students always seems to be the least important items to get. Because of of this, we have a high need for basic supplies.

We are an inner city school with K-8 students.

These supplies will be used by students who have Autism. The students are in self-contained classes, and are in need of materials that can be used to help them to be successful with their art projects.

My Project

I am requesting special sissors, painting and craft supplies that will help my studemts with Autism to do art projects. Students with Autism have different needs, so they also have a need for special supplies. Art supplies are very expensive and to add the special supplies with the basic supplies needed in art, makes it even more expensive, and it is impossible for both to be included in the school budget.

These supplies are important because it will make it easier for my students with Autism to be successful with their art projects.

These students need the same opportunities as students without Autism to succeed.
