My Students

My 7th and 8th grade students are hard-working, creative learners that love to share their work and ideas. They are engaged and love to explore and create through reading and writing. In order to meet our writing goals, they need to be able to see concrete examples to further their understanding.

My students need good modeling to help them become better writers.

My students love to share their work. This not only keeps them engaged, but also helps them feel successful and become motivated to keep working and growing!

My Project

My students need a document camera to share their projects, learn from each other, and expand their writing knowledge.

Modeling good writing habits leads to successful independent writers!

I can model my thinking, writing, editing, and revising to give students concrete examples of how to be successful writers.

Students can share their work and work together to create by using the doc cam. Doc cams make writing more engaging and help involve the whole class.

Doc cams are great for students because:

* they can see concrete examples of writing, editing, and revising

* they can model for each other

* they can share projects quickly and easily which empowers students to be leaders and teachers

* it keeps them off their phones and other devices for a while

* students think they are AWESOME!
