My classroom is packed! It is full of students! 31 of them to be exact. Therefore, some desks are far back from the front of the classroom. Unfortunately, it is really difficult to see the writing on the board when you are sitting in the back.
My students are amazing!
They are excited to come to school and learn each day. The problem is I have 31 students in my third grade classroom. That's a lot for one teacher to manage alone.
My school is a shiny gem in a small town. It is the kind of place where everyone knows everyone else. My students are bright and ready to learn. They are the future leaders of America!
These kids are technology savvy! I want my classroom to be cutting edge and fascinating to my students. In order to continue to challenge them, I need to continue to update and add new components to my room. My students inspire me everyday and I strive to inspire them as well.
My Project
A new projector would be a very valuable resource for my classroom. An ultra short throw projector would allow me to project the largest possible image at the front of the room. Students sitting anywhere in the room will have a more crisp, clear view of what I am presenting.
We are extremely fortunate to have a Smart Board in our classroom. Unfortunately the projector we have does not completely utilize the entire size of the Smart Board. I have a large empty border where the projected image is smaller than the actual board. There is no way for me to make the projection larger with the projector I have. Therefore, I am looking to fix this with a new projector. I want to use every square inch of the board to teach my students all subjects and make them eager to learn even more.
A new projector will make my lessons come to life in a larger way.
It will help all my current students as well as students in many years to come. It will allow me to maximize the current technology in my room. Thank you for considering my project.
