This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are excited about distance learning and I love seeing them become digital citizens. They are learning how to navigate many platforms and use technology in order to further their academics. They are hard-working and do not give up. I love that even during distance learning we are able to share funny moments as well as sad ones. While most of them are excited that school has started they are also sad they are not back in the classroom with their friends.
My Project
Students will be able to access engaging digital files while they are learning from home. Most of the students come from low-income households and therefore do not have access to printing PDF files I may assign to them. Having access to digital files will allow students to access the curriculum in an egaging manner.
Also, providing students with editable digital files helps them become well versed in Google slides, Google Docs, and Google drive.
As a result students will be on their way to becoming ready more advanced features in Google and Google Drive.
