Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am honored to teach such amazing fourth graders! My students are growing and our chairs are uncomfortable and many broken. I have students who are 5 ft 4 and only ten years old and they need adequate seating so they are comfortable to learn and engage.

We are a Title I school in Chandler, Arizona and over 90% of my class are on free and reduced lunch.

My students rarely miss school because we are their home away from home, their safe place to spend their day.

The chairs we currently have are all different sizes and many are broken. Please help us start the new school year off strong!
