My Project
In response to Ohio's House Bill 250, which mandates that all public schools implement policies limiting student cell phone use during school hours by July 1, 2025, our school is proactively seeking solutions to ensure compliance and enhance our learning environment. We aim to provide secure lock boxes for student cell phones, minimizing distractions and promoting focused, engaged learning.
Studies indicate that excessive cell phone use contributes to distractions, reduced academic performance, and increased mental health concerns among students.
By securely storing phones during school hours, we aim to:
Enhance student focus and engagement.
Reduce instances of bullying and social anxiety linked to phone use.
Comply with state legislation, ensuring our school's adherence to educational standards.
Implementing this system will foster a more attentive and interactive classroom atmosphere, benefiting both students and teachers.
