This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

A few months ago, we funded a project for a Pelican case to protect our camera equipment. While the Pelican case is excellent for storage, it’s not practical for events as it doesn’t have straps and must be rolled and stored somewhere, leaving it vulnerable. During a recent basketball game, we noticed someone rummaging through our unattended case, highlighting the urgent need for a more secure and mobile solution.

After extensive research, we discovered that the NOMATIC McKinnon Camera Backpack is the perfect solution, being large enough to carry all our equipment, durable for protection, and designed for mobility, ensuring our gear is secure and accessible at all times.

Impact on Our Students

This backpack will significantly enhance our students' photography experience by:

Providing Security and Mobility: The backpack will allow students to keep their equipment with them, reducing the risk of theft and damage.

Enhancing Event Coverage: With the ability to carry all necessary gear comfortably, students can focus on capturing high-quality images at events like soccer games, rallies, and other school activities.

Supporting Future Photographers: For students aspiring to pursue photography, using professional-grade equipment and accessories will provide invaluable hands-on experience, preparing them for future opportunities in the field.
