My Project
In our Geometry class we will be in our unit on circles and teaching the formulas for sector area and arc length. To best apply and understand the meaning behind what is a sector and what is an arc. Then moving into making the connections between the vocabulary, calculations, and number sense.
Together this project will give the students a hands on understanding of the mathematics being taught and how it applies beyond mathematical problems.
Our students have a wide variety of abilities and desire to learn. Our classroom with intention is run differently to reach different learning styles and find enjoyment in mathematics inside and outside of the classroom.
