Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are assigned to intervention because they are at least one grade level below on CA state standards. My K-3rd students will be focusing on phonological awareness and phonics. Most of my students are ELL, students with SSTs, or students that need additional practice or modified instructional strategies to build their confidence in learning. The Secret Stories: posters, stories, videos and flashcards will make learning fun and engaging! As I introduce new phonics skills, I would love to share these fun Secret Phonics Stories! Students relate to the stories and remember them when reading words that relate to the Secret Stories. Thank you for your time and support with this project.
