Hello! I am entering my second year at Unity, and I have a better idea of how to best serve my classroom. The headphone splitters and expo markers are to encourage engagement in peer collaboration with whiteboard work and educational technology. The flexible seating I had last year was a hit and huge incentive to student behavior and independent work. I'd like to expand that with more rockers. Finally, on cold and rainy days, I found myself at a loss for indoor recess. Students expressed interest in more building toys and chess, so I would like to expand those opportunities during less structured times. Overall, these items help support my classroom's culture and foster more engagement.
