My Students
Our school is a 6-12 secondary school in New York City serving a diverse student body. I teach 7th-grade Humanities, 10th-grade Human Rights, and 11th-grade US History. All courses at the school are project-based and aim to provide students with assessments based on real-world problem-solving.
My Project
The use of a second screen will allow me to screen share while also seeing the faces of each of my students on my primary computer screen. Being able to seamlessly slide back and forth between the zoom window and whatever materials we are using in class is invaluable to a fluid and engaging remote classroom.
The hybrid set up in my school means I'll be teaching part-time from home and part-time from school.
In order to stay focused and healthy in the current extended remote teaching environment, I have requested a laptop stand one for my home classroom and one for my in-person classroom.
