it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My second grade reading intervention students live in the low-income, mid-city district of Los Angeles. My students come to school every day and we have the highest attendance for a Title I/low-income school with a population of about 700 plus students. My second graders are a rambunctious, beautiful bunch of kids with so much life, love and learning to be had. They deserve everything the world has to offer and more! We are so proud of them, every step of the way! They are happy learners with smiles and excitement all day!
My Project
These reading games and centers will help
my reading intervention students build their fluency and comprehension skills!
My students want to learn and need exciting ways to get them to where they need to be in reading fluency and comprehension.
They come to tutoring every week and are excited to reach that level! It is their goal to be proficient!
Therefore, I want to provide them with hands-on reading games that not only help them get the practice they need, but also experience the fun in reading!
All of these reading games focus on the specific areas of reading in which they need practice.
