Help me give my students their own space to complete their assignments, read, or reset their amygdala with a new couch, chairs and play carpet.

Hooray! This project is fully funded
I have 23 awesome students this year that will benefit from and enjoy new classroom materials. This year I have students that all would love the opportunity to add to our classroom seating options. My students need diversity in their reading and math materials, but also child-size and colorful classroom equipment. My students are curious and eager about the world around them, I want to foster this curiosity with extensive hands-on learning opportunities.
Child-size furniture gives the students a sense of ownership and independence in the classroom.
The Scholastic resources for kids bring grade appropriate, curriculum connected nonfiction to our classroom. They are an amazing group of students and I love to see them excited about learning.
Children need their own area, a safe space, to call their own. I am requesting a child size couch, chair, table, and landforms rug to create space in the classroom that is just the right size for 7/8 year olds. This area will also be equipped with scented stuffed animals, slow rise stress balls, and lavender scents that can be used to ease the stress and worries that children may have. This space will be implemented in a variety of ways, depending on the classroom dynamics. I want my students to feel safe and loved while they are in my room. Help me give them a space of their own.
