Second Grade Writers Need Supplies!

My students need essential writing tools and supplies (paper trays, colored pencils, markers, crayons, construction paper, etc.) to launch the writing center in our classroom.

My Students

We are a Title I school and majority of my second grade students qualifies for free breakfast and lunch. For some of them, it is the only hot meal of the day.

Majority of our students comes from low income households and shelters near the area.

My students are very motivated to learn and I am very proud to be their teacher. I hope to inspire them to become successful someday by instilling in them the value of hard work, patience and perseverance.

My Project

Our classroom needs supplies for the writing center. We need different kinds of writing paper and paper trays. We also need writing tools like pencils, markers, crayons and caddies to put them in. They will use these supplies to write stories, hence showcasing their impressive writing skills.

My second grade class needs essential writing tools and supplies to launch the writing center in our classroom.

It will make an impact to inspire young writers to see that we have pencils, crayons, markers and an assortment of papers available every time an idea comes to mind. Our school has very limited funding to buy these basic supplies and most of our families do not have the budget for these either. Your donation will inspire creative minds today and someday they might become published authors.
