My Students

I am truly fortunate to work with my diverse and unique second-graders every day. My learners have come to be proud of their accomplishments and work through their weaknesses, despite the challenges they face.

Many of my students deal with socioeconomic disadvantages which have been magnified over the last two years.

Now that we are back, we are more ready than ever! They never let the obstacles they face stand in the way of working hard and achieving their goals. I want them to have the type of experience that every child deserves to have - one that will leave them with fond memories and successes to be proud of.

My Project

These resources are dedicated to a years worth of engaging, hands-on scientific experiences in two classrooms. Our students will learn about plants, animals, forces, and more! Each resource listed directly benefits weekly experiments so all students can experience science first-hand and learn about the world around them.

With these materials, our second grade students will get to be active scientists and participate in activities that will increase their curiosities and investigative spirits.

Not only will this benefit one class, but these resources will support TWO amazing classrooms of future scientists.
