This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My school doesn't have science curriculum and I really want my students to have hands-on science projects to do! I want to do more earth science and hands on activities, versus just worksheets. I would like to teach my students more ocean science, as well, as few of them have ever seen the ocean. My goal is to spark a real interest in science with this hands-on approach. I also want to give my students more opportunities to work as a team and study the scientific process together and these science kits will do just that. Thank you!
