My Students

My students have a unique opportunity of having the same teacher for two years. They will be moving from first to second grade with me. There are a wide range of abilities and interests but every student is eager to please and hard working.

My students are readers, mathematicians, scientists, historians, problem solvers and above all they are family!

I have a class full of unique learners with one thing in common; their enthusiasm and excitement for learning! It is a true joy to watch!

My Project

I have the opportunity to loop with my students to second grade. I have taught first grade for ten years and will need to enhance my classroom library with books that are more appropriate for second grade readers.

Choosing a new book is like looking for treasure!

I want to make sure my students have a great selection of books to chose from and create readers that get hooked on a series. By donating to this project, you will help to improve my students' reading selection. Young Cam Jansen, Fancy Nancy, Notebook of Doom, Ready Freddy, and Nate the Great are some of the possibilities!
