Second Grade Place Value!

My Project

Place value is a vital skill that is used in all elementary grades. In second grade, students learn place value up to a thousand and will be able to write in standard, expanded, and word forms. Having place value white board allow students to practice all aspects of place value daily. The place value chart help students visualize where each place in located. The magnetic base ten blocks help student visually see the place value in base ten manipulatives. These materials will help all second grade students at our school build their place value knowledge and exceed in future grades when place value expands!
