Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Hello, I work at a title one school where over 93% are low income at my school. Most of these children have parents that work multiple jobs to support their family. These kids are so deserving of a classroom set of headphones, fidget bands, and their favorite books.

Our class desperately needs headphones.

The headphones will allow students to complete work in a distraction free environment. Our school uses Amplify and Imagine Math to help aid student learning. These two have auditory aids to help target specific student needs.

The fidget bands will be very helpful for the kids because I have many high energy students in the classroom. These bands will allow students to use their energy while simultaneously working at their desks.

The books I chose are amongst some of the favorite for our class. They love the Food Group series and the Ninja books will help teach social emotional skills to the class.

I will be very appreciative for anything that is donated to my class.
